June 3, Baryshnikov Arts Center, 450 W. 37th St. (betw. 10th & Dyer Aves.), 646-731-3200; 7, $20.

Choreographer Donna Uchizono has always been inspired by her surroundings. For a recent commission in Montana, she mined the barren and austere countryside for inspiration. In this performance, which itself travels from The Baryshnikov Art’s Center to The Kitchen, Uchizono uses Manhattan’s hurly-burly spatial schizophrenia as the raw stuff of dance.

Bottom Line: Real dancey dance. Expect little irony but rich, textured, genuine movement.
