Pressed for Time: A Conversation With Shepard Fairey

April 25, The Brooklyn Museum, 200 Eastern Pkwy. (at Washington Ave.), Brooklyn, 718-638-5000; 3, Free with admission.

Before Shep Fairey was famous for hopey-changey posters, he was the adorable, Andre The Giant-obsessed skater dude who seemed handy with a can of Krylon. Now, on the eve of his big show at Deitch Projects (the gallery’s last), the still precious but now very serious and important Fairey is sitting down with fancy art folks to talk shop.

Bottom Line: Despite success, we have faith that Fairey’s still a decent guy and will have interesting things to say.
