Potential Bias Attack

an asian-american man was attacked in front of 236 w. 64th st., between amsterdam and west end avenues. police said that on june 24 at 11:36 p.m., the young man was walking home with a 22-year-old african american woman. when the couple was approached by a group of men, racial slurs were exchanged. the victim was hit with an unknown object and suffered partial memory loss. he was taken to cornell hospital, police said.
