Post-Spamalot, Clay Aiken Enjoys Hanging With Homos at Houston's

We didn't realize that Clay Aiken's tenure as Sir Robin in [Spamalot] was already up, so when a friend spotted him last night dining at a [Houston's on E. 27th & Park](http://www.menupages.com/restaurantdetails.asp?restaurantid=2834) (she was on an Internet date, so that explains her reason for being there), we wondered who was understudying him so he could go out for steak during show time. But a [quick search revealed](http://theclayboard.yuku.com/topic/17544/t/Closing-Night-Sunday-May-4-Discussion.html) that his last day in the show was earlier this month (we already feel dirty for visiting that site).

What was more interesting to us was that Clay was dining with a "big ol' Chelsea Boy," according to our source, "And a mom-type."

"You mean a gay boy?" It still seemed odd to imagine Clay with a faggy Chelsea drone.

"Yup. He had the big bag and everything. Total Chelsea gay. There was no mistaking it." For those of us not so in-the-know, a [recent profile of Clay] pre-Spamalot revealed that the pop star is fairly sexless and likes it that way. Plus, those mothers are his bread and butter.

So instead of carousing at Cafeteria (as Lance Bass is wont to do), Clay seems to have survived NYC so far—perhaps by dining at large U.S. food chains ([like Houston's]) and avoiding the temptations that the West Side of Manhattan may offer. But, really, how long can that last?
