Pig fit to be tied on West Side

west siders got a nose full last week when a restaurant decided to roast a pig in an alley behind their eatery in celebration of their year anniversary, according to this story by the west side independent.

apparently, recipe, which serves rustic new american cuisine, cooked the swine to honor its staff and instead ended up incurring the wraith of nearby west siders who complained that the smell of burning pig and lighter fluid made them sick. one resident even called the police.

"it was the horrible smell that i first noticed," judy starr, an animal rights activist and west side resident told the independent. "then i saw the poor piglet from my kitchen window. i love animals and have never ever seen anything like that before in my whole life."
