Phone Snatching

A woman had the phone taken right out of her hand at 12:15 p.m., March 15. The 43-year-old Upper Manhattan woman told police that she was walking on West 86th Street between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West when a man approached her from behind and grabbed her $200 iPhone. She said the mugger ran west on West 86th Street with two other men. Isaias Cespedes, 18, was later arrested and charged with grand larceny.
