owner sam katz writes, "here's my 10-year-old female african grey... named boychik. when i first got her (she was 4 months), i was convinced she was a male. a year later i had a dna test done and she turned out to be a female, but by then she already knew her name, so we kept it. but here you can see that she's a real west sider with opinions about everything: especially films and plays that relate to birds!"
