On March 10th in the middle of the night, a 32-year-old man was exiting the 72nd Street subway, when two men in their 20s approached him. The first perpetrator told him, “give me your phone, or I’ll shoot you.” Despite their warning, the victim did not hand over his phone. The perpetrator then punched his victim three times in the face, while his accomplice stood by and watched. Both men fled on foot. Later, police conducted a search of the area, but the phone was never recovered, and no arrests were made.
