Pediatric Cancer Foundation and Camp Ramaquois launched their Annual Sports-a-thon throughout the 2012 camp season. Campers selected the sport of their choice and set their personal goals on behalf of children who suffer from cancer. Camp Ramaquois' award ceremonies were held on August 16th. Camp telephone number is: 845- 354-1600 if you have any questions. This summer Camp Ramaquois is dedicating their donations in memory of special staff member, David Kaufman. Camp owners/directors, Natalie and Arthur Kessler further explain how helping children with cancer directly impacts the lives of Camp Ramaquois youngsters: "The concept and philosophy of children helping children brings great value to the lives of our young campers. We strongly believe that when children become involved in helping others it enriches their lives." Funds raised summer of 2012 will be used to purchase Pediatric Infusion Pumps. Size and age of the patient affects the administration of important chemotherapy drugs.  More availability of pumps will surely influence the length of waiting time and therefore anxiety levels for these children. "From the bottom of our hearts and the children we serve, we are very grateful to Natalie and Arthur Kessler, Camp Ramaquois' owners and directors and Camp Ramaquois' campers and families for their commitment to children with cancer." says PCF Executive Director, Nancy Joselson.
