More than 400 current and former pediatric patients, many recovering from brain-related ailments, visited Beth Israel Medical Center earlier this month for its Ninth Annual Holiday Party.

The party included food, gifts, arts and crafts, game booths, face painting, a live DJ, and a special visit from Santa Claus.

The event was co-sponsored by the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in 1988 by dedicated parents, physicians and friends, whose mission is to improve the treatment, quality of life and the long term outlook for children with brain and spinal cord tumors through research, support, education, and advocacy to families and survivors.
