Avant-garde fashion and communal food rituals come together in Fest, an interactive performance to unite people across cultures. Audience members are invited to participate in ritual hand washing before breaking bread from edible couture dresses worn by three female performers. Baked in the shapes of the Platonic solids, the bread can be dipped in spices representing the five classical elements: Fire, Earth, Air, Ether, and Water. This symbolically rich ceremony is designed in collaboration with Breads Bakery, Naama Shefi, Lior Lev Sercarz, Studio Christian Wassmann, Bradley Rothenberg, and Oliver Halsman Rosenberg.

Every Nov. 11 since 1919, the New York Veterans Day Parade in New York City has honored the services of our veterans and active military members. Produced by the United War Veterans Council, the parade route spans 1.4 miles up Fifth Avenue between 26th and 56th streets. The New York Veterans Day Parade opening ceremony begins before the parade at 10am and is open to the public at the Eternal Light Monument.
