A 21-year-old woman from Vermont reported to police that on Tuesday night, April 16th, someone came up from behind her as she was texting a friend and tried to snatch her iPhone. The attempt was unsuccessful and the woman told police she heard the person scream an expletive as he ran northbound on William Street.

Book Bag Lifted

A 27-year-old clerk at a Greene Street clothing store told police that on Tuesday, April 9th, just before noon, a man walked into the store, grabbed a Chloe handbag from a display and left the store without paying.
