Sure, social networking and the mass media it enables can be used for nefarious purposes, but do these Council Members truly believe the technology should be held responsible? I could come up with endless analogies to illustrate how ridiculous this is. I completely agree with Caroline that authorities (at various levels) should be using the same technology they lament to meet their own objectives - such as ensuring public safety. As usual, the bureaucrats are way behind advances in technology.]]></description>
