On Lycos, You Can't Beat Hillary
Search engine Lycos has released its top web search statistics for the week ending June 1, 2007, and Senator Hillary Clinton is the most searched political candidate on that site.
Clinton is 125% more popular than the next candidate, Republican Fred Thompson, among Lycos users, though Thompson did see an 1100% increase in search activity during the same week. And Lycos users must have a libertarian bent, as Republican Congressman Ron Paul, the little-known (except to insiders) presidential candidate out of Texas, has higher search scores than Barack Obama and John Edwards. Mitt Romney, the former Massachusetts governor and Republican hopeful, barely registers among Lycos users.
None of these candidates were in the top ten overall Lycos searches, however. [Wanna guess who snagged the top spot](http://www.free-celebrity-desktop-wallpaper.com/paris-hilton/paris-hilton%20(1).jpg)?
