    a man assaulted a cop after yelling obscenities at him april 4 at 7 a.m. police said that simon parkinson, 35, yelled and pointed his finger in the officer's face in front of 120 w. 82nd st., between columbus and amsterdam avenues. parkinson took an "aggressive stance," according to police, and gave the officer a chest bump. parkinson then allegedly fought with officers trying to arrest him, kicking and throwing punches. the officer was treated at a nearby hospital. it is unclear if this incident is related to the march 31 incident at the same address.
