Notes From THe Neighborhood: Titanic Anniversary Performance

| 02 Mar 2015 | 04:50

Compiled by Megan Bungeroth and Josh Rogers Marking the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic on Thursday, April 12 at 8:30 p.m., a new original play will premiere at Lincoln Center's David Rubenstein Atrium, 61 W. 62nd St. The free show follows the survivors of the ship's tragic mid-Atlantic iceberg crash. Parts of the script were crafted from the testimony of actual survivors to the U.S. Senate and British Board of Trade, and the performance will be accompanied by live music that was famously played by the ship's band. Admission is free, but seating is limited. Visit LincolnCenter.org/Atrium for more information.
