In the evening of Tuesday, April 24, a 32-year-old male living on W. 75th St. reported that when he had his credit checked recently, he discovered that an unknown person had opened a cell phone account using his personal information. $5,000 in merchandise had been charged to the fraudulent account. The victim filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
