It’s Eastertime! And that means spring weather is ushering in bunnies (edible and otherwise), pastel eggs, caramels and family fun. New York offers hoppin’ events in the way of holiday activities; it all depends on what your bunch is looking for. From farm animals to extravagant hunts, check out our round-up of bunny-eared bonanzas.
Saturday, March 31
8th Annual Egg Hunt at Carl Schurz Park
1562 First Ave at East 87th Street
Begins at 12Noon
The Upper East Side’s Carl Schurz Park is hosting three egg hunts (Noon, 12:20pm and 12:40pm) along with photo sessions with the Easter Bunny himself. The always-entertaining Moey’s Music Party will also perform at 1pm on the playground.
Easter Egg Hunt at the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum
895 Shore Road Pelham Bay Park, Bronx
10:30am-1pm
Easter egg hunting only gets better when the kiddos are scurrying around in the beautiful and historic garden in the Bronx’s Bartow-Pell Mansion. Other activities include photos with the Easter Bunny and an arts & crafts table. Refreshments will be served. Pre-registration is required.
Spring Fling at Brooklyn Bridge Park
334 Furman Street
10:30am-1pm
The Brooklyn Bridge Park is hosting its Annual Spring Fling, featuring Karma Kids Yoga, dancing and face painting. The older set can even help build a boat! Don’t miss The Wiyos rocking out at 10:30am and Audrarox at 12pm. Plus, be on the lookout for an appearance from the Brooklyn Bridge Bunny.
