    Writer Greg Atwan, who has his own Facebook book (called [The Facebook Book]), is [reporting on the 02138 site](http://www.02138mag.com/editorial/spotlight/2889.html), that Sony and Scott Rudin have optioned bestselling author Ben Mezrich's (pictured) forthcoming book about the creation of Facebook, Face Off, which he reportedly sold to Doubleday for $1.9 million.

    If you don't recall, the little Harvard lifestyle magazine made waves last year when they [published files pertaining to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg] and also claimed that Zuckerberg may have stolen the idea of Facebook. But we wonder how interesting a movie about the creation of a social networking site at Harvard can actually be. I mean, remember the dreariness of [Pirates of Silicon Alley](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0168122/)? Drama! Intrigue! Computer nerds? Nah...
