NADLER’S TRANSPORTATION JOBS BILL
Rep. Jerrold Nadler reintroduced a bill that would create a program in the Federal Transit Administration to retain jobs in public transportation and train new workers in the sector.
The legislation, Nadler said in a statement, would target “disconnected youth,” 16- to 24-year olds who have dropped out of school and been unemployed for at least six months.
