MySpace 2008
The digital revolution in presidential politics just got a little bigger.
Today MySpace announced plans for a Presidential Town Hall series to be held on college campuses from September through December. Each Town Hall will offer MySpace users a one-hour chance to pick the brain of their favorite (or not so favorite) candidate in a direct, unfiltered setting.
Were welcoming candidates into the MySpace living room, said Tom Anderson, president of MySpace. Unlike living rooms in the primary states of Iowa and New Hampshire, ours holds millions of people wanting to get to know these candidates.
Dates and times have not been announced. According to MySpace all the heavy hitters will be participating, including Senator Hillary Clinton and former Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
