Mosque Mayhem

Someone stole $500 in donations from a mosque on Riverside Drive. At 11 PM on Monday, Aug, 5, an unknown intruder entered the mosque, which was under construction, by prying open plywood being used to secure the basement entrance. The intruder also pried open six donation boxes located on the first floor and removed an estimated $500. The mosque had no video surveillance or alarm, and police searched the area but were unable to locate the intruder.
