More Intolerance For Ya, This Time With Spitting And Stabbing

Local freelance filmmaker Dwayne Buckle was seriously disappointed one night last summer when a failed attempted to get a little action resulted in the beating of a lifetime—specifically, it was his ego that was bruised and his ass that was beaten … by a girl, by [seven lesbians], to be exact.  Buckle, 29, of Queens, told a Manhattan jury yesterday about the attack that occurred on Sixth Avenue at West 4th Street, courtesy of an angry septet from Newark, N.J.

From the New York Post: “Three of the original seven women are currently serving six-month jail sentences for attempted assault. But four others are on trial on first-degree gang-assault charges that could get them anywhere from three to 25 years in prison.” Patreese Johnson, 20, the one Buckle referred to as the "slightly pretty one," is also charged with attempted murder for allegedly pulling a knife from her purse and slashing him repeatedly, lacerating his liver and stomach. Jeez, these are the times we sure are glad angry lesbian jokes aren’t tolerated in today’s day and age.

But what Buckle calls “a hate crime against a straight man,” the women claim was simply [self defense]. They say Buckle is a violent, anti-gay bigot who provoked them as he loitered outside the IFC Center movie theater trying to entice passersby into buying his latest movie.

Thanks to Big Brother, much of the exchange was caught on an  IFC security camera, footage that shows Buckle called the women "f- - -ing dykes," spat on them, threw a cigarette at them and grabbed one of them by the throat. We’re not sure who handled rejection better: the women who stabbed Buckle for disparaging  their lifestyle, or Buckle who disparaged their lifestyle because he wasn’t their type.
