A man held up a Sovereign Bank, at 2702 Broadway and West 103rd Street, using a gun and a McDonald’s bag. Police said that on Dec. 30 at around 11 a.m., the man gave the teller a note that read “I have a gun, give me $1,000” and pointed what was presumed to be a gun sheathed in a McDonald’s paper bag at the teller. The teller gave the robber $1,200, and he fled north on Broadway, according to cops. There was no dye pack in the money.
