Man Arrested For Attempted Bank Heist

a man was arrested after he tried to rob the citibank branch at 441 columbus ave. and west 81st street. police said that may 14 at 2:30 p.m., sidney wray, 37, walked into the bank and showed the teller a note that read, "put all the money in the bag." but apparently the teller did not cooperate or wray gave up, because he walked out without any cash. cops said wray tore up the bank slip he used to write the note on as he walked down the street. police canvassed the area and arrested him.
