Longwave Rocks Luna Lounge

Before it closed its extremely popular LES location in 2005, local rockers Longwave were playing regularly at Luna Lounge. On Friday, the band took the stage at the venues new recently-opened location in Williamsburg. The set-list contained a slew of very promising new songs, but the band also made sure to play plenty of fan favorites from The Strangest Things and Theres A Fire. The guitars of Steve Schiltz and Shannon Ferguson bursted with delicious sonic energy, especially on the brilliant instrumental Daysleeper.
The Picture, Palomar, and Soft, 3 up-and-coming local acts, all preceded Longwave with solid performances.
