like a pie cooling on a window sill, someone stole a laptop placed near an unlocked window on may 18 around 1:30 p.m. the $1,433 mac book was stolen from 319 w. 84th st. and west end avenue, police said. witnesses around the building told cops that an unknown man was loitering around the neighborhood.
