Ladies And Gentlemen, The WaMu Theater

Washington Mutual bank has reached an agreement with Madison Square Garden over the naming rights to The Theater at Madison Square Garden, which is to be called the WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden starting right now.

“Madison Square Garden is one of the most recognized entertainment venues in the world and the partnership – to use a musical pun – is very well ‘in tune’ with our brand and focus on everyday people,” said WaMu president Steve Rotella.

Eleven WaMu ATM's will be placed throughout the MSG complex as part of the deal, so the theater will be named after something that actually dwells within it. On that note, they should probably change the name of the Garden to "Mediocre Basketball Arena."
