Kinda Like Snow In NYC

If you’re type of thing is ringing in the new year with your fellow New Yorkers (and probably a whole lot of folks from Jersey) in mildly chilly, probably kinda drizzly weather, then you should definitely head to Times Square where [7,000 pounds of confetti] awaits you. That’s three times the normal amount, according to event organizers. One hundred confetti-tossers will hurl the three-plus tons of teeny tiny pieces of paper at you, and if that doesn’t curl your toes, then I don’t know what will. Plus, the confetti will be inscribed with messages of good cheer this year, like “peace,” “celebrate,” “dance,” and “make love, not war.” OK, I threw in that last one in for fun but why not?
