JUVENILE PURSE SNATCHERS

A Maryland woman was robbed by three young teenagers on Oct. 25 at 7:05 p.m., as she walked on West 79th Street between Riverside Drive and West End Avenue. The 39-year-old woman told police that the teens grabbed her pocketbook from behind and fled. The woman and other witnesses chased the group for six blocks and recovered the pocketbook, but the teens got away with credit cards and $15 in cash. One of the thieves, a 14-year-old teenager, was arrested on Oct. 27.
