    A woman's luggage was stolen from the luggage compartment of the Hampton Jitney. At 5:05 PM on Sunday, August 25, a 57-year-old woman placed luggage in the luggage compartment of the Hampton Jitney coach in Amagansett, Long Island. When she arrived home at the southwest corner of Broadway and West 86th Street three and a half hours later, she found her luggage was missing. She told police that the jitney had made five stops before she got off the coach. Items taken included a Guess roller suitcase valued at $250, a pair of pearls worth $217, plus clothing, makeup, and accessories totaling $1,559.
