For the first 45 minutes of Sunday’s game, New York Jets’ backup quarterback Kellen Clemens looked [more lost than the passengers](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_(TV_series)) of Oceanic Flight 815. In the fourth quarter, however, he found his footing, but it was just a little too late, and the [Jets lost to the Baltimore Raves, 20-17](http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=270916033).

The Jets entered the final 15 minutes down 20-3 in what appeared to be a blowout, but Gang Green showed their resilience behind Chad Pennington’s replacement. Clemens, who went just 4-for-9 for 43 yards in the first half, completed 10-of-17 for 176 yards and one touchdown in the final quarter, and marched the Jets down to the Baltimore 7-yard line with 1:07 remaining and a chance to tie the game. Unfortunately, Ray Lewis intercepted a deflected pass in the end zone, sealing the victory for Baltimore. “As the game grew on, I got more and more comfortable,” Clemens said. “My play in the first half was not what it should have been. By the second half, things slowed down a little bit and I calmed down, and we were able to move the football.”

Jerricho Cotchery (pictured) seemed to be Clemens’s favorite target, since the duo hooked up for seven receptions for a game-high 165 yards. Jets tight end Chris Baker caught a three-yard touchdown pass with 3:12 remaining to cut the deficit to the final margin. Despite the late-game excitement and reasons for optimism, however, New York s[till sits at 0-2] and faces Miami in a tough divisional game next week.
