The company is waiting to see if a [missing disc] containing the personal information of 75,000 New York customers will turn into a massive case of identity theft. Theyre not sure if the disccontaining peoples names, social security numbers, addresses and even descriptions of their medical services received since 2003was lost or stolen, dun dun dunnn. CNN explains, "The information was on an [unencrypted disc ](http://money.cnn.com/2007/03/14/news/companies/bc.wellpoint.information.reut/index.htm?section=money_latest)that a subcontractor recently sent to Magellan Behavioral Services, a company in Avon, Conn., that specializes in monitoring and coordinating mental health and substance abuse treatments for insurance companies."
