Last weekend of “Summer Streets,” 6.9 miles of traffic-free fun & food activities from Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park along Park Ave. 7 AM – 1 PM; summerstreets@dot.nyc.gov.
The 82nd Street Greenmarket will sell local produce, collect old clothes, recycle household items and compost; East 82nd Street between 1st & York avenues; Grownyc.org.

Carl Schurz Park Volunteer Gardener Group meets to work in the park; students or children must be accompanied by adults or parents. 86th Street Mall at East End Avenue. 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
