HELP FOR HAITIANS

hudson guild is holding an event for seniors who want to help with haitian earthquake relief, but have little money to give.

the community center is coordinating an event where seniors can help make handmade tote bags and stuffed toys that will be sold for a profit. all proceeds from the sale will go to organizations helping with relief efforts in haiti.

the event is at the hudson guild john lovejoy elliott center, 441 w. 26th st., between ninth and 10th avenues, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. march 12. those interested in participating can register by calling 212-760-9800 or emailing info@hudsonguild.org by march 10.
