Residents of Rep. Jerrold Nadler’s district are the 107th happiest in the nation, according to Gallup. The independent polling company has ranked Congressional districts in order of happiest to saddest after polling Americans on health-care indicators. The overall score was called the Well-Being Index, which is based on several health-care indicators. Nadler’s district, which is based in the Upper West Side and covers lower Manhattan and Coney Island, ranked high in basic access to health care (50th in the country), life evaluation (75th) and healthy behavior (69th). The district scored lower in the categories of emotional health (296th) and work quality (374th).
