Handbag Heist

A 27-year-old clerk at a Greene Street clothing store told police that on Tuesday, April 9th, just before noon, a man walked into the store, grabbed a Chloe handbag from a display and left the store without paying. The bag was valued at $2,995. Police are reviewing surveillance video and are looking for a black man, 5'8", 130 lbs last seen wearing a blue baseball cap and red tank top.
