Handbag Heist

Around noon on Tuesday, April 9, a 27-year-old woman working at a boutique on Greene Street reported that a man had walked into the store, grabbed a beige handbag worth $2,995 from a display, and left the store without paying for the bag. The thief fled in an unknown direction. Police conducted a canvass of the area but were unable to locate the man. No arrests have been made.
