Halloween Horror
Four men were shot and one woman stabbed after an altercation in Union Square late last night, the [New York Post] reports. The fight broke out around 1 a.m. today at the McDonalds located at East 17th and Broadway, then continued to Union Square Park, where the shots were fired. Witnesses reported hundreds of people fleeing the scene where up to eight shots were fired amid Halloween revelry. All of the victims were rushed to local hospitals and are in stable condition. [Police have said arrests are imminent ](http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?section=local&id=5736941)and that the incident may be gang-related. The incident comes less than a year after a [fatal stabbing](http://gothamist.com/2006/12/07/one_dead_from_u.php) at the nearby Union Square Greenmarket.
