A man believed to have repeatedly stolen property from Reebok’s Sports Club lockers was arrested on May 19 and charged with grand larceny. Police said that members of a field team inside the sports club spotted Robert Caposio, 48, trying to enter without proper ID at 4:30 p.m. that day. Caposio matched the description of a person believed to be responsible for numerous grand larcenies at the club, at 160 Columbus Ave. and West 67th Street. When an officer attempted to investigate his conduct, Caposio fled. He tried to assault the cop but was arrested, according to reports. During his apprehension, Caposio tossed out an orange screwdriver.
