Gang Bang

A 59-year-old man was set upon by a gang of 10 men. He was walking home at the corner of Amsterdam Avenue and West 65th Street Thursday, June 27, at 11:15 PM, when the men approached him, yelling, "Give me your money!" The man replied that he had no money, at which point the gang forced him into a front-entrance stairwell area and punched him in the face with closed fists, kicked him, and grabbed his wallet. The victim had visible bruising on his face. The thugs made off with $19 cash, along with the man's New York State driver's license, Social Security card, and two credit cards.
