Funeral services for actor James Gandolfini were scheduled for June 27 at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine at 112th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, one block east of Broadway on the Upper West Side.
The 51-year-old star of The Sopranos died in Rome. Family spokesman Michael Kobold said Gandolfini died of a heart attack.
The Italian news agency ANSA reported that Gandolfini’s body departed Rome for the United States on Sunday. The actor had been headed to Sicily to appear at the Taormina Film Festival.
