A social society for building managers in Manhattan is holding a fund-raiser for the family of a long-time Upper East Side building manager forced by illness to retire.

The Hibernia Provident Society is raising money for Pat Dunne, one of its founding members, at a fund-raiser Nov. 19 between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. at Rosie O’Grady’s, 800 Seventh Ave. at 52nd Street. The group promises food, a raffle and other prizes.

Dunne worked for years as a building manager at 159 Madison Avenue and was instrumental in raising $2.5 million for the NY Ronald McDonald House. When he won a car through a raffle, Dunne donated it to the charity (even though his own car had broken down two months before). He was forced to stop work a year ago, and moved back to Ireland in June.

Donations can be made payable to:
The Pat Dunne Charitable Fund, c/o Michael Donoghue, 310 E. 53 St., Apt. 4H, NY, NY 10022
