Fronting Affront

A man was held up at gunpoint on West 62nd Street. At 10 PM on Saturday, July 13, a 21-year-old man was approached by a 29-year-old man of his acquaintance, who displayed a black 25 caliber handgun and said, "You are fronting [pretending to be more than you are] -- spit out your gold teeth!" At this, another robber-- 17 years old -- went into the victim's pocket and removed about $900.
