First CBGB's, Now Beat Street

The [Daily News] reports that one of New York's best known sources for hip-hop vinyl is getting the boot. Brooklyn's Beat Street Records has been told to "beat it" by, who else, Internet downloaders. Note to all remaining indie vinyl shops...listen closely... Start. A. Web. Site. I thought hip-hop was all about the hustle (digital or analog)... what happened? Sounds like it might be time to haul the vinyl treasure trove from the basement, set up an [eBay](http://www.ebay.com) account and take up where Beat Street left off. I might be willing to part with a pristine T-La Rock "It's Yours" single in original sleeve for a few thousand smackers.
