How wonderful to honor the memory of our lovely Dino in this way! I have worked in NY and international clubs for over 20 years and cannot remember ever being treated the way Dino did. He was amazingly generous and you always felt special and that you were his best friend! He made everyone whether dancer, musician or customer feel that way. That’s just the way he was incredibly special!

A lovely tribute for a lovely man. He is deeply missed, but his legacy will go on … He made a huge impact on the lives of so many of us (I am a bellydancer and comedienne), his warmth and generosity will continue to resonate in his friends, family, music, dance, and in the very streets of the city itself!

I am glad to see Dino and the Lafayette scene remembered here. It meant so much to so many of us, and to not have a place like this in the arts-rich hotbed of NYC is almost a crime.
