    A robber stole spools of electric wire from a residential building on Nassau Street. At 2:45 AM on Wednesday, August 14, a police officer witnessed a 37-year-old man removing property from a building. The intruder had no permission to be inside the building and was throwing items over the wall. He then exited over the wall, at which time the police officer apprehended him without incident. The building was owned by a realty company, and the stolen property was owned by a 41-year-old man from Queens. The items taken were 14 spools of electric wire and various cords, valued at $3,400.
