This is no time for New Yorkers to go on a diet. Sure, it’s bikini season. But today begins Summer Restaurant Week, and this year over 200 top eateries are participating, including Nobu, Café Boulud, Payard, Union Square Café and Grammercy Tavern, amongst others. When else can you get a three course pre-fixe lunch for a mere $24.07 and dinner for $35 in New York City? Drinks, taxes and tip not included. Basically, now through July 27 (excluding the weekend) is your one chance all year to eat at a 4-star restaurant on a 2-star wallet. So get out your loose-fitting pants with the elastic waistband and dig in.
