Democratic Idol
With the Democratic primary field becoming more and more of a three way race, Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd has sent an e-mail to supporters today highlighting his successes ("only one campaign raised more money than ours last quarter," straw poll victory in York County, South Carolina) and urging small contributions from his supporters.
He's also taking a shot at the celebrity culture that has engulfed this year's race (think Clinton, Obama), comparing the current campaign to a particularly popular TV show and implying that he is the true candidate of substance in the race. Quote:
