Dead Mom Makes Poor Care-Giver

Police said yesterday that [a Bronx baby was found after spending five days alone with his dead mom]. The baby was dehydrated but otherwise healthy but the same couldn’t be said of his mother, who had apparently overdosed. At 8 p.m. on Sunday, one-year-old Debonaire Gibbs was discovered when relatives went to 28-year-old Thomasina Gibbs' apartment at 951 Hoe Ave. in Longwood. Relatives and neighbors say that they had wondered where Thomasina was and were surprised by her disappearance. We bet they were really shocked when they found out she was in heaven.
